4 situations to avoid when using aluminum foil to wrap food

Aluminum foil is one of the things that many kitchens do not have, as it is used for many purposes.

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority shared some tips on using aluminum foil, known as tin, through its official Twitter account.

These chips are suitable for packing food at room temperature and in the refrigerator.

The use of these chips is safe if used correctly, and using them for purposes not intended for them may lead to food contamination.

Here are 4 situations in which aluminum foil should not be used:

Do not use it to cook or heat food

Do not use it to preserve acidic or highly salty foods

Avoid exposing it to high temperatures inside the oven, or exposing it to flame directly

Avoid using them in microwave ovens, and replace them with utensils designated for that
