How do we wash and sterilize hand cooking utensils in our homes?

The process of cleaning cooking utensils at home is one of the important things that we do daily, and to maintain the safety of food at home, you must follow the proper methods when cleaning cooking utensils according to the following simple steps:

Firstly before washing:

Scrub the cookware well to remove the stuck dirt.


Secondly, washing:

Wash the utensils well using soap and hot water, and change the soapy solution to keep it clean and in a high concentration.


Third, rinsing:

Rinse the utensils using hot water to remove traces of soap.


Fourth, sterilization or disinfection:

  • Use a good quality sanitizer or disinfectant.
  • Take care to ensure that the utensils are in contact with the disinfection or sterilization solution.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of the sanitizer or cleanser concentration after washing periods.


Fifthly, drying:

Leave the pots to dry for sufficient time.
