Egyptian Health warns of food habits that must be avoided during the home isolation period

The Ministry of Health and Population has warned of eating habits that lead to harm to the health of the patient with the emerging coronavirus during the period of receiving treatment in home isolation.

In one of the educational publications circulating on the official pages of the ministry on various social media, the Ministry of Health demanded to avoid the following:

Fast and fried foods because they contain fats that are harmful to health.

Processed foods because they contain additives such as sugar, salt and preservatives that harm the body's immunity.

Consumption of salt and foods rich in sodium such as soy sauce, pickles and high-salt cheeses because they lead to many health problems.

Sugars, sweets, canned juices and soft drinks, and can be replaced with fresh fruits.
