Jordan buys 60 thousand tons of durum wheat in a tender

Dealers said that the government grain buyer in Jordan contracted 60,000 tons of hard flour wheat for import from optional facilities in a tender that closed on Wednesday.

They added that the seller is Nippolon at a price of $ 273.30 per ton, including shipping costs for the supply in the second half of August 2021.

Three other companies participated in the tender: Amropa, which offered $ 282.95 per ton including shipping costs, and Vitera with a bid of $ 286 per ton including shipping costs, and Realcom Doll, whose price was not disclosed.

A new tender is expected to close next week for shipment in September and October.
