The Egyptian Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Ali Al-Moslehi, agreed in principle with the head of the Sudanese Industries System, Mirghani Idris Suleiman, to study the exploitation of available agricultural lands in Sudan .
According to the agreement, these lands will be cultivated with slaves, soybeans and corn for the benefit of the Holding Company for Food Industries of the Egyptian Ministry of Supply, which will contribute to providing edible oils to the Egyptian market, and limit imports.
The meeting dealt with the follow-up of cooperation between the two countries in the field of food industries, on top of which is the file of the provision of live meat by the Sudanese Etegahat Company for the benefit of the Holding Company for Food Industries, as the relationship between them is a strategy of a deep and solid nature.
