Ranking of the most salt producing countries in the world

Egypt produces about 4.6 million tons of salt annually, at a value of about one billion pounds, as salt is extracted from a number of salt salts in Alexandria, Port Said, North Sinai and Siwa by public business sector companies, public companies and private sector companies.

The following is a review of the ranking of countries that produce the most salt:

2 - America 42 million tons.
3 - India 30 million tons.
4 - Germany, 14 million tons.
5 - Australia 13 million tons.
6 - Mexico 9 million tons.
7 - Chile 9 million tons.
8- Russia 7 million tons.
9- Brazil 7.6 million tons.
10- Turkey 6.6 million tons.
11- France 5.7 million tons.
12- Austria 4,9 million tons.
13- The Netherlands: 4.5 million tons.
14- Pakistan 4.5 million tons.
15- Poland 4,5 million tons.
16- Spain 4.3 million tons.
17- Britain 4.1 million tons.
18- Italy 4.1 million tons.
19- The rest of the world is 44 million tons.
20- Total: 293,000,000 tons.
