Dr. Ahmed Abu Al-Yazid, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Delta Sugar Company, said that Egypt has achieved a quantum leap and leap in sugar production.
He continued, during a telephone interview with the media, Azza Mustafa, on the "Hall of Liberation" program, broadcast on Sada Al-Balad channel, that Egypt's current sugar production amounts to 2.7 million tons.
Dr. Ahmed Abu Al-Yazid added that Egypt's sugar production suffices 90% of the country's need, and it is expected to achieve self-sufficiency within 3 years in light of the development of sugar factories.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Delta Sugar Company indicated that the Egypt Company for the Delta entered into the field of agricultural feed and fertilizers.
