The weather is still cool and suitable for outdoor and barbecue.
Several factors may result from grilling foods that expose them to pollution, according to what the Saudi Food and Drug Authority said on Twitter.
The authority highlighted tips that you must follow while grilling.
Here are 5 tips for safe grilling:
- When transporting food from one place to another, it must be kept refrigerated to limit bacterial growth to a minimum.
- Care must be taken to place well-cooked meat on the edge of the grill grid, and avoid placing it directly on burning coals, so as not to burn.
When serving food, it should be served on clean dishes when removed from the grill.
If the meat you want to grill is frozen, it must be defrosted before grilling to ensure all parts are evenly cooked.
- Food should not be left in the normal temperature for more than two hours, in order to prevent the growth of bacteria.
