Soy milk is an "impeccable" alternative to cow's milk
German nutrition expert Anita Subbersky said that soy milk is the most popular alternative to cow's milk, noting that it has some health benefits, but it is not without drawbacks.

Sapersky explained that soy milk is a good alternative for people who have lactose intolerance (milk sugar), as well as people who suffer from gluten intolerance, and it contains less fat than cow's milk.

However, soy milk lacks calcium, vitamin B12 and vitamin C, which makes it unsuitable for children.

Soy milk may also cause allergies in some people, due to the soy protein, as well as it may cause bloating, according to German news agency DPA.
