The Sydney Dental Center in Australia said doctors often face a question about whether warm lemon water is harmful to dental health.
The doctors' answer was that it is advisable to avoid this type of fluid, given that acidic drinks have great harm to the teeth.
The source said that "the acids present in citrus fruits would cause damage to the enamel layer of the teeth, exposing it to fall out."
He added, "These acids are fast acting if they find themselves in a warm environment such as warm water."
A previous study conducted by the "Kings London" College of Dentistry found that consuming a cup of warm water and lemon twice a day doubles the risk of tooth loss by about 11 times.
It is noteworthy that a large percentage of people have recently resorted to the option of drinking warm water and lemon after waking up, instead of coffee, for fear of its health damage.
