Russian doctor, Vladimir Zaitsev, spoke in an interview with New Inform on Monday, October 19, about products that can be taken before bed without harming health.
He said: "You should not eat before bed unless you suffer from stomach pain and realize that such excruciating pain can cause gastritis."
For a healthy snack, according to the specialist, you should always have vegetables in the refrigerator: lettuce, celery and spinach. Carrots, apples, and dried dates are also allowed in small quantities.
It is best to eat with a little water and soothing herbal tea. Zaitsev is not recommended to drink milk.
The doctor also advises against eating meat and sweets. The latter is saturated with carbohydrates, and the former is difficult to digest.
