A doctor reveals who are forbidden from eating carrots

Russian nutritionist Dr. Olga Koraplyova declared that eating carrots does not always benefit the body.

In an interview with the Russian Novosti news agency, the specialist notes that people who suffer from liver disease are forbidden from eating carrots, because the liver in this case cannot absorb carotene.

And, of course, she adds, carrots are a useful nutrient, containing vitamins of group as well as E and C, which allow the body to fight viral diseases. Also, carrots help speed up metabolism, improve blood circulation, reduce the level of harmful cholesterol, and help reduce weight.

But, "In addition to this, I do not recommend eating carrots for anyone who suffers from stomach ulcers or intestinal ulcers or inflammations of the walls of the small intestine."
