Nutrition expert recommends eating specific foods to strengthen immunity

Nutritionist, gastroenterologist and culinary blogger, Nuria Dianova, pointed out how to boost your immune system with a special menu.

Dianova told "Sputnik" that proteins and a group of vitamins, especially "C and D", must be present in the diet, and the main thing is that some type of protein must be included in every meal.

"For breakfast, it is preferable to have milk porridge with a piece of cheese that contains animal protein, in addition to a cup of coffee and some dried fruits, for example apricots," Dianova said.

For lunch, it is advisable to eat chicken or fish, along with vegetables, as they are a rich source of vitamins and carbohydrates, added Dianova.

Researchers and experts warn of the increased risks of a weak immune system in light of the outbreak of the emerging corona virus, in addition to seasonal flu.
