A recent study found that if one of your family members was infected with the emerging coronavirus, your likelihood of contracting it also remains low.
The British newspaper "Daily Mail" reported that researchers in Boston studied more than 7000 families, one of which had been infected with "Covid-19".
The results found that only one in 10 people with corona transmits it to a person who lives with them at home.
And she added, "Also, the possibility of transmitting the virus to someone you live with was lower for larger families."
The study also stated that the risk of contracting the virus at home from a person you live with is higher for people who suffer from certain health conditions, such as asthma, cancer or obesity.
Earlier, a review of 54 studies published in "JAMA Network Open" in December 2020 found the rate of household transmission of 16.6 percent.
