A new study identifies 21 existing medications that can treat Covid 19.

A new study written by a global team of scientists led by Dr. Sumit Chanda, a professor at the Sanford Burnham Medical Institute, has identified 21 existing drugs that stop the recurrence of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid 19.

Scientists have analyzed one of the world's largest known drug groups for their ability to prevent the proliferation of SARS-CoV-2, and have reported 100 molecules with confirmed antiviral activity in laboratory tests. 21 of these drugs were determined to be effective in safely achievable concentrations in patients. It is noteworthy that four of these compounds work synergistically with Remediffer, a standard treatment for the level of care for Covid 19.
