The Director of the World Health Organization stressed, on Monday, that there is an "urgent need" for 4.3 billion dollars for a global plan to share vaccines for the emerging corona virus.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus pointed out that there is a "danger of crushing the poor and the vulnerable" during the scramble to obtain "Covid-19" vaccines, according to Reuters news agency.
Dozens of countries signed the global vaccination plan known as "Kovacs" developed by the World Health Organization and the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization, "Gavi", to provide vaccine doses to countries that cannot otherwise afford it.
To date, it has raised $ 5 billion, including more than 500 million euros ($ 600 million) from Germany.
