The UAE announces the start of production of the Emirati-Chinese "Hayat-Fax" vaccine against Corona

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority in the UAE announced today, Tuesday, the start of production of the "Hayat-Fax" vaccine against the Coronavirus, within the framework of cooperation between the UAE and China.

The authority announced that "Hayat-Fax" will be the first locally manufactured vaccine in the region and will be manufactured by "CNBG42", a joint venture company recently established between the Chinese "Sinopharm CNPG" and "G42" of the UAE.

The authority stated that the start of the joint vaccine production heralds the start of "a historic stage for the manufacture of vaccines in the country."

It is noteworthy that the production capacity of the vaccine is 200 million doses annually, and the first vaccine produced by the UAE will strengthen the vaccination program through 205 medical centers nationwide, and will make the UAE a leading regional headquarters in this field.
