Oxford vaccine test for children

Trials will be conducted on the anti-corona virus vaccine produced by the University of Oxford and the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, to see if it is effective in stimulating children's immunity to confront the epidemic.

300 volunteer children will participate in the test, where they will receive the first dose of the vaccine in February.

The researchers will assess whether the vaccine will strongly stimulate the immune system in children between the ages of six and seventeen years

The Oxford vaccine is one of two used in the UK, along with the Pfizer-Bionic vaccine.

240 children will receive the vaccine, and the rest will receive another meningitis vaccine.
