The Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation announced that the volume of Egyptian agricultural exports has risen to more than 3.9 million tons so far .
This came according to a report that the Egyptian Minister of Agriculture Al-Sayed Al-Quseir received from the head of the Central Administration of Egyptian Agricultural Quarantine, Ahmed Al-Attar, regarding agricultural exports for the period from early January to 26 August.
Agriculture confirmed that exports amounted to 3.940 million tons of agricultural products, and the list of the most important agricultural exports for this period included citrus, potatoes, onions, grapes, pomegranates, garlic, mango, strawberries, beans, guava, cucumbers, peppers, and eggplant.
According to the report, the total agricultural exports of citrus reached about 2.393 million tons, and 0.674 million tons of potatoes, ranking second in agricultural exports after citrus fruits.
