The Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation announced that the volume of agricultural exports has increased to more than 4.4 million tons since the beginning of the year until October 21.
This came according to a report received by the Egyptian Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Mr. Al-Qusayr, from the head of the Central Administration for Agricultural Quarantine, Ahmed Al-Attar.
The list of the most important agricultural exports during this period included citrus fruits, potatoes, onions, grapes, pomegranates, garlic, mango, strawberries, beans, guava, cucumbers, peppers, and eggplant.
The report indicated that the total agricultural exports of citrus amounted to one million 398 thousand and 232 tons, in addition to the export of 678 thousand and 64 tons of potatoes, to occupy the second place in agricultural exports after the citrus fruits, while 353 thousand and 1 tons of onions were exported, ranking third in exports.
