How to compensate for the lack of vitamin "omega-3" with affordable foodstuffs

The Russian nutritionist and endocrinologist Alpina Komisarova spoke about how to compensate for the lack of "omega-3" acid at the lowest cost.

Komisarova explained, that the deficiency in this vitamin can be compensated for through some foodstuffs that are cheaper than others.

"Fatty acids are found in large quantities in nuts, flaxseeds and vegetable oils," Komisarova emphasized.


Pointing out that omega-3 fatty acids are not only found in expensive red fish, but also in various types such as mackerel and herring. She also called for an interest in sardines and anchovies.

Earlier, doctors said that symptoms such as irritation, dry skin, depression, dry eyes, joint pain, and hair problems could indicate a deficiency in the body of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids.
