The Egyptian Health Ministry provides guidelines to combat obesity ... Avoid cream and mayonnaise

The Ministry of Health and Population issued several health guidelines to combat obesity, in one of the ministry's publications circulating on its official pages on various social media.

The Ministry of Health advised the following:


Reducing high-fat foods such as butter, margarine, skin, fat, processed meats, and full-fat cheeses, and replacing them with healthy fats, taking into account not to increase them, such as olive oil, hot oil, and peanuts.

Eat fish twice a week.

Refrain from eating cream and mayonnaise.


Limit high-carb foods such as bread, rice, pasta and potatoes.


Drink plenty of water at a rate of 2 to 3 liters a day.
